Led by Breakthrough ACTION—USAID’s flagship SBC project—the meeting will share a new global influence strategy to increase commitment to SBC for family planning programming and initiate discussion on identifying shared priorities to catalyze coordination among stakeholders and create impact in family planning through SBC.
Breakthrough ACTION will use the discussions and outcomes of this meeting to develop a framework outlining strategic priorities in SBC for family planning. The framework will reflect a shared vision for SBC for family planning programming with regard to investment priorities, essential elements of high-quality programming, and increased coordination across donors and implementers. Breakthrough ACTION will seek further input from experts to validate the strategy as it is developed.
