Led by Breakthrough RESEARCH—USAID’s flagship SBC research and evaluation project—the interactive consultation will inform the development of research agendas to guide investments, research, and program design. This consultation, which builds upon past efforts by USAID and other multilateral partners to strengthen the evidence base for SBC for reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH), is part of a series of expert meetings to pinpoint and prioritize cross-cutting SBC evidence gaps.
During this consultation, Breakthrough RESEARCH will share preliminary findings from their landscaping and solicit input into the development of a set of consensus-driven research questions, which will form the core of proposed research agendas. Ultimately, these shared SBC research agendas aim to foster collective learning, reduce duplication of efforts, and maximize investments.
