This technical brief explains how Breakthrough ACTION Liberia worked closely with 135 influential individuals to act as ambassadors and trusted sources of information within communities to increase COVID-19 vaccine rates throughout 2021 and 2022.
In 2023, following the success of this model, Breakthrough ACTION Liberia trained 110 district supervisors to model high-quality interpersonal communication and counseling skills in their work and serve as communication coaches to other facility-based peers to increase the uptake of malaria preventive services.
