Behavioral Design to Inform Social and Behavior Change for Nutrition hybrid course (Live session 1)

September 6, 2023 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am

Behavioral science offers powerful insights to encourage social and behavior change (SBC) in nutrition.

This course gives an overview on how behavioral science can address nutrition challenges and how the behavioral design approach can help you develop innovative SBC solutions to achieve better results for your nutrition programs, services, and policies. It walks learners through a real-life case example to support families to follow nutrition guidelines for feeding their young children during and after illness. The course content covers work done by Breakthrough ACTION and USAID Advancing Nutrition in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

To deepen your understanding of the course content and how you might adapt the solutions developed, we have organized two live “virtual” sessions for selected participants to join together with the course authors and other nutrition practitioners and policymakers. Selected participants will need to be available to participate in both live sessions.
