From 2017–2020, Breakthrough ACTION implemented an integrated social and behavior change (SBC) project in Zambia designed to support the increased adoption and maintenance of healthy behaviors among Zambian individuals, families, and communities in five health areas: HIV, maternal and child health, family planning, malaria, and nutrition.
The SBC innovations that were developed and handed over to the Zambian government were:
- Adolescent Wellness Days: A Toolkit for Implementors
- Emergency Planning: Toolkit for Implementors
- Growth Monitoring Toolkits: Toolkit for Implementors
- Men’s Wellness Days: Toolkit for Implementors
- Ni Zii!: Toolkit for Implementors
- Provider Guidelines and Feedback: Toolkit for Implementors
Health and SBC professionals can adapt these toolkits for their integrated programs.
