Breakthrough ACTION collaborates with the Division of National Malaria Programme, county health departments, and community-level stakeholders to amplify the impact of malaria interventions and strengthen social and behavior change capacity. The project also works with government and family health stakeholders to increase the adoption of crucial health interventions among intended audiences through contextually tailored social and behavior change activities. These activities highlight the project’s commitment to fostering health-seeking behaviors and supporting evidence-based health interventions in Kenya.

Empathways is a card deck designed to spark discussion and joint reflection between young people and family planning service providers. The tool aims to develop provider empathy for young clients and to encourage providers to pull from this empathy to deliver more youth-centered family planning and contraceptive services.
